Theoretical physics prides itself to be the most precise of all of science with 12 decimal places for the (anomalous) magnetic moment of the electron as an elementary particle in full agreement with extremely precise measurements.
This was Richard Feynmans joker card to meet questions about quantum mechanics as the supreme achievement of human intellect computed using Feynman diagrams. 12 decimal places! That would give at least 3 decimal places correct for the rest of physics.
This is put into perspective in this new article.
