Obama Mathematics

President Obama has a special taste for difficult issues:
  • Mathematics: We've got to push to get more kids taking algebra in eighth grade, and then you start to think about calculus in that fourth year of high school.
  • Climate change: But this is a new day. It is a new era. And I am proud to say that the United States has done more to promote clean energy and reduce carbon pollution in the last eight months than at any other time in our history.
  • Health care: The time for games has passed. Now is the season for action.
  • Olympics 2016: I urge you to choose Chicago.
  • Afghanistan 20,000 additional troops to the current total to 68,000 and now maybe 40,000 more men to carry on the fight.
  • Iran: We’re not interested in talking for the sake of talking.
