Cool Jazz vs Global Warming

In the classical music channel of Swedish State Radio the morning program on April 1 was devoted to an exploration of the possibility of treating the syndrom of severe climate anxiety bogging down the Swedish Welfare Society into paralysis, by classical music.

Yes, music can certainly bring consolation to troubled minds and even better serve to counter global warming. This was shown by Miles Davis who in 1950s developed Cool Jazz to replace the Hot Jazz of 1940s formed to counter the misery of the chill of WWII.

Jazz music can thus be used as a thermostat for the Global Climate, which is more efficient and enjoyable than  the presently used control through emissions of CO2, which threatens Western Society including its Grand Tradition of Western Music into annihilation.

Jazz music can thus save both the Planet and Western Society/Music.
