NASA is now spending big money on projects such as CERES to find instrumental evidence of anthropogenic global warming AGW, but finds nothing. It is similar to the fruitless efforts by CIA to find evidence of weapons of mass destruction WMD in Saddam Hussein's Iraq. Is this an expression of paralyzed US politics?
No, it is an expression of incompetence in climate science, and of an academic, and therefore an institutional, denial of that general incompetence. All of our "authoritative" institutions are aiding and abetting a fraudulent coverup of the failure of climate science. The result is an immoral perversion of science, and a tyrannous perversion of politics.
