I have decided to take a step back from the
Sky Dragon Slayer group. I will keep contact as consultant but should not be viewed to belong to the core.
The reason is that I want to stay fully independent as scientist and not be restricted by group thinking or group loyalty.
Claes, I applaud your decision to stick to your principles and not go along with the majority view for the sake of appearance. That is the correct way to approach science. I have every confidence that with your outstanding analytical skills we will all finesse the details of the science to mutual satisfaction.

John
I agree with John. Independence will allow you to explore other areas of science such as fluid dynamics and then sit back to see if you can tie some of them together such as the Colburn analogies. Engineering science has more value to the world than "old hat" physics.
SvaraRaderaI have been surprised by the abuse and lack of understanding of engineering science at climate etc by persons who called themselves "physicists". One has to wonder what second rate education they have obtained.
Keep strong

I also applaud your independence and look forward to learning more and more from you in the years to come!
SvaraRaderaBest wishes,

Thanks, I hope to hang on for some time.
